INVESTING QUESTIONS

  • WHAT IS FUTUREVEST?

FutureVest is a simple and secure marketplace that provides excellent global and alternative investment opportunities spanning across many sectors and markets for individual investors. We are a platform for raising money and making investments.
  • HOW DOES IT WORK?

FutureVest partners with early-stage and seasoned companies searching for funding to launch them to the next level. Our team puts each opportunity through an extensive due diligence process before they are listed to ensure our investors limit their risk and have opporunities for high returns. We work with accredited investors and, in some cases, non-accredited investors to raise funds.
  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BECOME A MEMBER AND INVEST?

Becoming a member and browsing funding opportunities is completely free.
  • DO INVESTORS HAVE ACCESS TO THE COMPANY?

In most cases, no. However, investors who have invested in a company and project will receive regular updates and KPIs to keep them well informed on business performance.
  • HOW DO I INVEST?

Click “investments” on the navigation bar above. This will present you with all investment opportunities launched at this moment. Click the investment to review and begin to invest. If you have any questions, please contact us through our contact page.
  • HOW MUCH CAN INVESTORS INVEST?

Each company seeking funding can set their own minimum and can be as little as $500. This will be noted on each investment page.
  • CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY INVESTMENT AFTER THE OFFERING HAS ENDED?

Once the offering has ended and the funds have been transferred, it’s out of our hands and cannot be changed or cancelled.
  • HOW DOES THE COMPANY GET MONEY FROM INVESTORS?

Investor’s funds are placed into an escrow account until the fund meets its investing goals and the time has ceased. Upon a successful campaign, the money is released and distributed to the company. FutureVest does not have access to any funds once the money has been moved. In some cases, for example with an ICO, the funds are immediately transitioned to the issuer.
  • AM I DEBITED IMMEDIATELY WHEN I COMMIT TO INVEST?

Yes, once you commit and authorize payment, your funds are placed into an escrow account. The money will be transferred to the company account if and only if the company succeeds in meetings its minimum funding goal. You will be notified via email in all cases. **Exception – some investment opportunities, companies get to keep their funds regardless of whether they’ve reached their goal or not. That is because, and this will be noted, investors invest with the contingency of the business being successful and not if their fundraising goal is met.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF AN INVESTMENT DOESN’T REACH ITS FUNDING GOAL?

In most cases, your funds will be returned to you. However, in some investment opportunities the company gets to keep their funds if they do not meet their campaign minimum goal. This is because the investment stats the investor is investing in the company to be successful, not that they have a successful campaign raise.
